Hi guy, today I am talking about maths. For maths we have been given independent tasks. I finished mine in a day so I thought I would show it to you guys. Have you every heard of independent tasks? Do you have any independent task for maths? We have a word doc with lots of question that our teacher writhes down then we answer it. Please give me feedback on my work. Mrs Mclachlan is doing her supermarket shopping. She buys apples, banana, pears and oranges. In each bag, she chooses 6 pieces of each fruit. How many pieces of fruit does she have altogether? 6 x 4 = 24
It cost Mr Roberts $8 to buy prizes for a super prize draw. If he buys 11 prizes how much will he spend? 8 x 8 = 88
Mrs Mclachlan is sorting out gifts for her sister’s birthday. She buys one gift that cost $32 and another gift that costs $47. How much did Mrs Mclachlan spend all together? 32 + 47 = 79
