Maths - Budgeting

Hi, guys today I will be sharing with you what I have been doing at home in this lockdown. I have been given a lot of work from school and that is now my main priority right now. I am going to show you guys what we have been doing for math. 

So in maths, we have been working on decimals and quantities of stuff. I have been doing budgeting a lot, as it is one of my main tasks for maths. I have to make a shopping list for a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). I also have to make an eating menu for them which I have really enjoyed. The eating menu includes breakfast, lunch and even dinner. The most fun thing is that we get to find out how much of it we need and how much do we buy of that ingredient.

Geronimo Stilton Books - Facts

Hi, guys today I was wanting to share what I have been doing and what book I have read in my spare time. I recently have been reading Geronimo Stilton and Thea Stilton books. I like reading their books because of the awesome text, illustrations and imagination there use. 

ELISBATTE DAMI

A book I have just finished is called " The Rumble In The Jungle" of course, it is by Geronimo Stilton.

 The real author of the books from Geronimo and Thea Stilton is Elisbatte Dami. She is an Italian 62-year-old. Anyways the book that I was reading was so interesting that I thought of sharing it with you guys. I'm not going to tell you much, so then you can go read it yourself but it is when Geronimo Stilton takes an unexpected trip to Brazil and goes on a weird, crazy and emotional adventure. 

My opinion of the book is that it is a great book and overall it was exciting and out of 5 stars I give it a 4-star rating. My favourite part of the book was when Geronimo meets his dear old friend and he is taken on an adventure. You must read it!  BYE! Here is a picture from the first chapter. Hope you like it! 

Cook Blog Post

Hi, guys today I will be telling you what we are doing for food tech. We had Mexican week so we Mexican Mince Dip and Quesadillas using tortillas with a chilli bean and vegetalbe filling. Our group is the vegetarian group so we made the dip without the mince it was still good.

Mexican Mince Dip: 
The Mexican dip tasted really good the seasoning was perfect and the texture was good it was no to thick. I remember last year when we made this it was thick and a lot more chunky. I could taste the taco seasoning and it was delicious and delightful with flavour. The colour was red because of the sauce we used. All and all the meal we made was great and with the nacho chips, it tasted better.  

Quesadilla:
For the second meal we made, it was delicious and you could taste the flavour in the food. The texture was great because it was wrapped in the sandwich and you could taste the beans that were added in with the sauce. The colour was brown and red like the Mexican mince we made last season. My favourite part was when we added cheese on top of the sandwich so it made it more cheesy.

What is a Haiku? - Screencastify

Hi, guys today I am wanting to share with you my screencastify about what is a haiku. We had made a doc and added all of the information we know about haiku poems. Then I needed to make my own haiku for an example so I could show it on my video. I made two haikus that I am really proud of today and am showing them to you guys. If you don't know what a screencastify is, it is an app where you can make videos on your laptop. Anyways after that, I had to video my work about what is a haiku and then post it on my blog for you guys to see. Hope you like it here is my haiku DLO. BYE!

Athletics Reflections - P.E

Hi, guys today I wanted to tell you about my reflection on Athletics day and practice in P.E for Athletics. Overall athletics was really fun because I was with my friends and I was doing social so I didn't have to try that hard but I still gave it my best shot. I am not quite a sporty girl so I was not really interested in doing competitive athletics. In social we did four activities, well the 7s and 8s did these activities. There were Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus and Sprints. We didn't have any results for any activities because were social so we were just doing it for the fun of athletics day. My favourite part of athletics day was that we got to dress up and have fun with teachers, friends and staff.

For when we were doing P.E in class with Mrs Tafal and Mr Palmer we practice our Long-jump, High Jump, Discus, Sprints and Shot Put. I learnt a lot from those sessions and had fun while doing it. Again I didn't get my results and so it was hard for me to know how I did. But from my perspective, I think I did pretty well and was giving it a go. Next time maybe we could have had some games and tell us a rule more clearly. Thank you for reading, BYE!
