Hi guys today I'm going to be talking about Armistice Day. I know I have already done a blog post about Armistice Day but I have made a DLO to make it easier. I used a new site called Coggle. It was the first time I ever use Coggle. Our teacher told us to do it on a different presentation not like a boring old slideshow. So I thought about using a new site that I want to learn more about. Coggle is just like Mind Mup but I feel like it is much more easier to use and much more funner.  If you want to join Coggle you can click the link HERE. Also I forgot to say this on my DLO that Armistice Day is named after a treaty that both countries signed, that is how it is called Armistice Day. We had to put our DLO into our own words. Summer Learning Journey Prep

Hi guys, today I am going to be talking about SLJ, Summer Learning Journey. We had another lesson. In my other SLJ post I had talked about prizes I want to win. This time I am going to be talking about a country I had choose to do. Which is Malaysia. We have to watch a channel that was in there language. 

The name of the show is Upin & Lpin I was confused because it was total not in my language. The only thing I could think about was what is this even about. I only came up with one which was ... that the little kids were going to school and they were having fun. If I knew what they were saying then I could tell you all about it. The only thing that I did like that it was a animation. I rate this three stars. ⭐⭐⭐

Now I am going to show you a New Zealand TV show which most of you might know Family Fend. In Family Fend you comet with another family and you have to answer question about NZ or other things. If you get over 300 points you come back the next day to comet with another family. If you do it contuses for 5 day you can win a car and money. I rate this a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Here is a video.

Hi guys, today I am going to be talking about Summer Learning Journey. Our Cyber Smart teacher, Emma had told use that we could choose some prizes if we win. I made a DLO of what I want. Hi guys, today I need some feedback from you on an idea on getting rid of plastic because all the plastic is ending up in our environment which is not good. We had to choose something that is plastic from our lunch box. I chose zip lock bags. I know I have all ready done a blog post on this but I have added more ideas in. I want to make New Zealand rubbish free and I know a lot of people also do. I have made a drawing of my idea BYE!!!

Hi guys, for reading we have been learn about Armistice day. Today I am going to be sharing my thought of Armistice day I am going to share with you three thing that stood out for me, but the first thing I am going to talk about is Armistice Day. 

1. Armistice day is when the first world war had ended. It was the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh mouth war had ended. From that day New Zealand honer who had fought for there country. 
2. At least 843 people were killed it was New Zealand's worst day in there overseas wars. There were 98,950 that went to war and only 18,000 served.
3. The great British had decided to have a war with Germany. They had said that in 1914 August that they would support Britain. New Zealand had joined the war at the earliest changes.

Have you ever seen or heard about Underwater Hockey?

Well, today I am going to be talking about that. Another word for underwater hockey is Octopush. Underwater Hockey is like normal Hockey but it is underwater and you can't hold your breath for so long so you have to be going constantly up and down. The bright side of underwater hockey is that you can go upside down you can be on top of them and get it off them. Here is a video about underwater hockey.

Have you ever heard of the Bermuda Triangle? Well, some people say it is a mystery to solve. Many ships and aircraft have crashed there. I've heard that the Bermuda Triangle has a cyclone and maybe even some other dangers events. The Bermuda Triangle is located in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean. BYE

Did you hear about the tornado in Ashburton? 

Hi guys today I am going to be talking about the tornado in Ashburton. I didn't know about it until my mum said " this is why it is so windy because there's a tornado in Ashburton". Some people say there will be a little persistent chance it will be hitting Christchurch. YAY We are safe. This tornado hit Ashburton on Sunday afternoon. Here is a photo of the Ashburton tornado. Hi readers, for topic we are looking are technology. Technology is when you try to make something better or create something good. We are looking at rubbish that is made out of plastic. We had to find something that is plastic in our lunch box. I choose zip lock bags. My idea is that you can reuse it and that is is washable. Here is the start of my drawing.

Sundays Can Be Busy!

What happened on your Sunday? Well, my Sunday was all about shopping and sleeping in. Actually it was about shopping. I went shopping with just my mum. My sister was home with her friend. We went everywhere including the fruit shop, which was so far away from are house. It took use two and more hours.   

Pool For My Birthday From The Warehouse!

So the first place we went was the Hornby Warehouse. There I went straight to the swimming pool section because for my birthday I am getting a swimming pool and I needed to find out what types were there. I choose a twelve feet weight pool. AWESOME! Then I tried to find a floaty for my pool. I couldn’t find any. I said in my head “What store has pools but not a FLOATIES?” Then I answered my own question by saying “ Let me guess  the Warehouse.” After talking to myself for a while we went off to Hornby Pak'NSave which was close to the Warehouse.

How Much Money Did We Spend At Pak'NSave?

I told my mum “That we are not walking to Pak'NSave, we are driving because I don’t want to push the trolley back and forth. When we made it to Pak'NSave I pushed the trolley and mum had the list. When mum started putting in fruits into the trolley mum handed me her phone to calculate the price of everything. At the end of shopping at Pak'NSave we had spent $89.66. $ Cha Ching Cha Ching $ Well, it was something near to that. After shopping for like one hour we went back to that car and we were off to the fruit and veggies shop which was far away.   

Seeing A Grapefruit For The First Time!

When we finally made to the fruit and veggies shop I saw something I mostly done see and eat a grapefruit. I wanted to try it out so I asked my mum if I could have it and …  she said “yes!” So I got one just to try it out for when we get home. My mum bought some fruits. Then we quickly payed, not quickly ... We payed extremely fast because it was just about to rain and we hanged the clothes outside. On the way home I turned on the radio and it was playing a latest song called “Taki Taki.” I don’t know how but I sort of liked it!

What Do I Think Of All Of This?

How long have you gone shopping for? I have no clue when we got home, I was so busy with my mum and our shopping I didn’t keep up with the time. Also didn’t want to keep up with the time. It was a very busy day and very crazy!
